General
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Gruv Designs ("the Company"). By placing an order, the client agrees to be bound by these terms.
Quotations & Orders
- All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
- Orders are only confirmed once:
- A deposit (if applicable) is paid, and
- Artwork/specifications are approved by the client.
- Any changes after approval may result in additional charges and delays.
Artwork, Design & Setup Fees
- If artwork provided is not print-ready, minor adjustments may be done free of charge at our discretion.
- If significant redesign, vectorizing, or digitizing (e.g., for embroidery) is required:
- A design/setup fee will be charged.
- This fee covers only the agreed scope of work.
- Any additional revisions outside the agreed scope will incur extra charges.
- All design, setup, and digitizing fees are non-refundable, even if the client decides not to proceed with printing.
Printing on Gruv Designs Products
- A 50% deposit is required to secure stock and begin production.
- The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before or upon collection/delivery.
- Production timelines begin only after deposit and artwork approval.
Printing on Customer-Supplied Items
- No deposit may be required unless specified.
- Clients leave their items entirely at their own risk.
- Gruv Designs is not liable for:
- Damage during printing
- Incorrect print results due to fabric/material incompatibility
- Loss due to fire, theft, or unforeseen events
- In such cases, compensation is limited to a refund of the printing cost only, not the value of the item.
Colour & Print Variations
Slight variations in colour, size, placement, and finish may occur due to:
- Different printing methods (DTF, vinyl, sublimation, embroidery, etc.)
- Fabric/material differences
These variations are industry standard and do not qualify as defects.
Product Specifications & Approval
- Clients are responsible for verifying artwork, spelling, sizing, colours, and placement before approval.
- Once approved, Gruv Designs is not responsible for errors in the final product.
Turnaround Time
- Estimated turnaround times are provided as a guideline only.
- Delays may occur due to:
- Stock availability
- Artwork revisions
- Equipment or supplier issues
- Urgent orders may attract rush fees.
Collection, Delivery & Risk Transfer
- Upon collection, the client must inspect all items.
- Once goods are collected, they are deemed accepted in good condition.
- For deliveries: Any issues must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
- No returns or refunds once items have been collected and approved.
- For delivered items: Returns must be requested within 7 days.
- Approved returns will be handled as:
- Exchange, or
- Store credit (no cash refunds).
- Custom-printed items are non-refundable unless defective due to production error.
Defects & Liability
- If a printing defect is confirmed to be caused by Gruv Designs:
- We will reprint, repair, or offer store credit at our discretion.
- Liability is strictly limited to the value of the printing service, not the full order value.
Intellectual Property
- The client warrants that they have the legal right to use any artwork or logos submitted.
- Gruv Designs is not liable for copyright or trademark infringement.
- We reserve the right to refuse printing of unlawful or offensive material.
Storage & Uncollected Orders
- Orders must be collected within 14 days of completion.
- After this period:
- Storage fees may apply, or
- Items may be resold or disposed of to recover costs.
Force Majeure
Gruv Designs shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Power outages
- Supply chain disruptions
- Civil unrest
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act where applicable.
Amendments
Gruv Designs reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Acceptance
By confirming an order, making payment, or submitting artwork, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
